Touchstone Energy® Power of Youth Award
Hill County Electric Cooperative is proud to sponsor a special program designed to give recognition to area high school students who exemplify the four core values of Touchstone Energy® in their day to day life at home, at school and in their communities.
Touchstone Energy® is a national alliance of local, consumer-owned electric cooperatives providing high standards of service to customers large and small. Hill County Electric is a member of Touchstone Energy® and strives to operate true to the four core values of Touchstone Energy®: Integrity, Innovation, Accountability and Commitment to Community.
Each month, one high school student will be randomly selected from a drawing of all nominations received. Nominations may come from a school official, teacher, staff member, classmate or community member. Criteria for nomination is based on academic performance, community involvement, creativity and integrity as demonstrated by the student’s involvement in school, extra-curricular and community activities.
The student selected each month will be recognized in the HCE News & Views Newsletter insert of the Rural Montana magazine, on the HCE website www.HillCountyElectric.coop, through radio announcements made on stations KOJM, KPQX and KRYK and in the lobby of the HCE office. Monthly award recipients will receive gifts from Hill County Electric. IN ADDITION, at the end of the school year, all nominated students will be recognized and celebrated!
It is our hope and purpose for this program to recognize the great power of youth and to reward the efforts and stellar performance of those young people as they prepare to be our future leaders.
A simple form is all that is necessary to nominate a deserving youth or you can submit an online entry. Please include a photo and permission to use photo or e-mail a photo in jpg format to kec@itsTriangle.net.
